OKES, Here is my entry

I am not a really organized person

BUT..when it comes to CLOTH DIAPERS..I am a SUPER MOM!! TADAAA!!!

CLOTH DIAPERing is one of my passions besides breastfeeding and babywearing.

It makes me feel more responsible towards the environment and it is my first step towards green living.

 My two kids, Hadiff and Husna are fully CLOTH DIAPERed since they were born and I own 40over CLOTH DIAPERs. <-That's not too much right? :p but definitely growing (thanks to MCDP mommies :))

OK, enough said, so lets talk about how I store my CLOTH DIAPERs. I've seen a lot of storing solution by my blogger friends. Some just satisfy by putting the CLOTH DIAPERs in a basket and placed it at a corner for easy access and mobility. It may work with other people but not for me. I prefer my CLOTH DIAPERs to be at one place and I know exactly where I can find this and that. Plus, I can't imagine if my Husna gets hold of those CLOTH DIAPERs and starts ransacking everything. That's going to give extra hard work for mommy.

My CLOTH DIAPERs are stored in a 4tiered plastic cabinet.
It contains all the items that I need in CLOTH DIAPERing.

 

The first drawer keeps Husna's CLOTH DIAPERs.
The CLOTH DIAPERs are set at Medium setting.
Most of them are pocket CLOTH DIAPERs so the inserts are placed in the shells once they are picked up from the cloth lines and prior to storing.
The CLOTH DIAPERs are arranged as such so that I can easily choose the Diaper of the Day.
Well, mommy sure have her own preference on specific day :).

 

Second drawer contains Hadiff's CLOTH DIAPERs in Large setting.

Several of them are almost worn out and mommy is actually contemplating on buying new fluffy for him or start potty training (Mommy malas..SHAME..SHAME..SHAME!!) 

Third drawer keeps other CLOTH DIAPERing accessories such as cloth wipes, wet bags, extra inserts, training pants (and mommy's cloth pads too).

The bottom drawers contains flat diapers and liner which I seldom use but has its own contribution in CLOTH DIAPERing.
Well, at least mommy can use it to wipe dry baby bums. :p

So far, I am happy with this system. It is simple, quick and cheap. My husband found it easy for him too. He helps me to change the kids CLOTH DIAPERs every morning.

My Tips on How to Win a Contest.

I love participating in contest and am considering myself as a contest junkie. I started to participate in a ‘serious’ contest when I was in form 3. A letter to Haji Sidek (badminton icon) in a daily newspaper and I won a consolation prize.

When R.U.M.A.H.K.A.M.I was born, I took contest a lil bit more serious. Took part in photo contests and managed to win a prize or two. MY RAK BUKU GIVEAWAY is the 1^st first place I won and many more followed after that.

Several bloggers had asked me if I care to share with them some tips on how to win contest. These tips are merely based on my experience and how I do it.

1-CHOOSE WISELY

Be selective. Choose contest that worth the efforts. Skip contest that requires you to write a 300words essay but the winner shall be chosen based on lucky draw. This type of contest is not worth the time you will spend.

2- PASSIONATE and GET MOTIVATED

Yes, ideas shall come if you really like the topic. You will write a good entry on your subject of interest. For an instance, I may write almost on everything about babywearing but total clueless on fashion or shoes. Nevertheless, you can also be motivated with the attractive prizes that are offered.

3-UNDERSTAND

Write down the requirements. Spend your time to understand the question on How or Why etc etc. Ask the organizer to explain more in order to clear your doubts.

4-DO RESEARCH

This is the contest that you really want to win. Ask Pakcik Gugel. Compile as much as possible the information. Spend some time on doing this.

5- BE CREATIVE

You must make your entry to stand out from the rest. Include rhythm, attractive photos, good jokes etc, etc. If the contest requires you to include information with limited words, use point form and put in as much as possible all the points you have gathered. Avoid sentences that have same meaning.

6- READ IT AGAIN and AGAIN

You can pick up misspelled/missing words and by doing this, you will normally get a clue on rearranging the sentence to make it more fascinating.

7- RECHECK

Ensure other requirements are obliged to. There are contests that require you to put up the banner on side bar or link to the sponsors’ websites. Recheck your URL.

Last but not least, pray hard if you really want to win.
